India: Delhi and its treasures

This post is part of a series of articles written while I was in India

I spent the last days strolling around Delhi on my own. I went back to the Old Delhi and the spice market and visited other places as well.

Without a group around you, the visit brings a different feel. We are probably more exposed to potential threats since solo travellers are often seen as an easy target.

But, travelling solo also means you can visit a place at your own pace, without having to meet constant deadlines. This also means you can go off the beaten track and take less familiar paths to really explore the treasures a city like Delhi has to offer.
